A little bit of color

So I feel like I never wear color so I decided to step out of my comfort zone and add a little bit more. In this outfit I am wearing an overall jean dress that has pockets in the front, and buttons up the side. Under the dress I am wearing a multicolored patterned T-shirt, and I am wearing burgundy tights to keep my legs warm. For shoes I am wearing my black matte Dr. Martens. 2013

Happy New Year to all the people who are already in 2014, but because I live in America I still have some time! This year has been such an amazing year I was able to travel a lot, I graduated high school, I started college, and last but not least made this blog. I have decided that in 2014 I am going to try and be better at putting up new posts, and definitely try more then once a week. But I hope everyone had a good 2013 and have a great 2014!

Alexa Chung

 I bought this book the other day about Alexa Chung and how she gets her inspiration. For the longest time I have loved Alexa Chung I used to watch her talk show everyday after school before it had ended. So when I found out she had a book out I could not wait to read it. Her book is mostly about where she gets her inspiration from and why. I definitely love these type of books because I am always curious to what inspires other people. This book is also an easy read and it kept me interested the whole time. I read the book in one night and I could not put it down. So I guess what I am trying to say is that I definitely recommend this book!

A little bit of Christmas

A lot of the things I am wearing in these pictures I got for Christmas. The main gift I got was this jacket, which I am obsessed with. I am really bad in the winter I never have a good winter jacket so this was the perfect gift! This jacket has leather sleeves and is a hunter green color. On the inside it has some faux fur, and the best part of the jacket is that I can wear it in the spring because the faux fur comes out. Another thing I got for Christmas is this black floppy hat, I think it adds a little bit more to a normal outfit. Under the jacket I am wearing a brown long sleeved shirt that has a black detailing on it. For pants I am wearing some black pants that have zippers in the front for pockets. And last but not least my black ankle boots that have a gold detail along the back which I by the way got for such a bargain at only $20. I hope you like how I styled this outfit! <3

Christmas Eve

This Christmas Eve was so much fun we had all our friends and family over and we took so many pictures in the photo booth! It was awesome to be able to see everyone! The first couple of pictures are of what I wore on Christmas Eve. The first thing I wore was my burgundy velvet skater skirt that I put in my holiday outfit idea post. With it I wore a sheer black crop top that buttons up the front and has a peter pan collar, under the collar I put on a gold necklace. Then instead of tights I decided to wear black high socks and I wore my shinny ankle boots. I hope you like my outfit and had a great Christmas!<3

Flannel

This outfit looks pretty simple but I think when you add the red flannel it makes the outfit stand out a little bit more. With the flannel I am wearing my beige sweater and a faux leather jacket over all of it. For pants I am wearing jeggings that are an acid wash. For accessories I am wearing a beige circle scarf and I am wearing my Dr Martens in matte black. I hope you like how I styled this outfit! <3

Bargin Pants

 I got theses pants the other day at Urban Outfitters in the sale for about five dollars and I was so excited. The pants are a kind of charcoal color and are a little baggy which I really like because they are super comfortable. For a top I am wearing a off white sweater that is shorter in the front and longer in the back. To add a little bit more warmth I through on a faux leather jacket, I think this also adds a little bit of an edge to the outfit. For accessories I am wearing this gold and gray polk a dot headband, and I like how this head band ties in the front. For jewelry I am wearing my go to necklace at the moment my gold necklace that looks like three separate ones. And for shoes I am wearing my black ankle boots that  have a little bit of a heel.
